About

About Alchemic Film.

Alchemic Film is a Dutch film company, founded by Paul Oscar Kanter and Ibrahim (Ibo) Karatay. In 2019 John van Mullem has joined us to strengthen the team. We admire artistically independent films in the tradition of auteur cinema. Consequently we cherish the rich past of international cinema and try to understand challenges of contemporary cinema, both the aesthetics and politic economics, in the light of its rich and diverse heritage. This understanding and ongoing conversation shape the production of our films.

Our Team.
